We are often afraid to show our vulnerable side, our most intimate desires and passions.

We hide behind a mask, until slowly we don't recognize anymore
the person we are presenting to the world, and end up feeling empty, stuck and disconnected.

These paintings are a reminder to let out
all the raw emotions we were always taught to suppress and dissimulate.

To show those parts of ourselves that we usually hide from the world.

Because people can't hurt us if they don't really know us.
But we can, by denying ourselves the opportunity to evolve and blossom into the person we are meant to be.

Hi, I'm Ellie

Born in Italy, I followed what society expected of me and chose to study Physics and later work in IT.

But after a few years I felt like I was living someone else’s life: the people around me knew nothing about my true self and my passion for art.

The times when I felt most alive were my solo travels, when I challenged myself and went to remote places alone, discovering my strenght every day and following only my curiosity.

During Covid I was in Australia, where I reconnected to my childhood dream and finally started sharing about it.
I traveled in a van for a year, while painting at the same time.
Along the way, I started creating bold portraits that reflect our raw, unfiltered selves.
